You play Harold, a biomechanical turtle. Outside, you fight through resource towers in twin-stick bullet-hell combat. Inside your shell, you build a factory: machines and veins feed organs, and the organs power your abilities outside. Feed an organ something new and you might discover a hidden ability, which gets recorded in an anatomy journal.
It started in January 2025 as a Rust prototype built with Bevy (turtle_bevy_public: custom player controller, a time-stop mechanic, Avian physics). It’s now built in Godot, with a headless test harness and a scripted end-to-end playthrough, so I can check a change doesn’t break the game without playing it.
The Godot version is private for now. The Bevy prototype is public.
